How fantastic is this?!

As a preface to my story, yesterday was a major recovery day for me. It seems having a stomach bug while prego can lead to a 4 lb. weight loss in one day. Saturday, I was unable to keep any food or liquid down and lost many, many calories through all exists possible. That's not the fantastic part, however. I guarantee you, that was not fantastic.

Jason was home yesterday and nobody went to church as I could barely stand without getting fatigued. I was very puny. When it was rest time, I asked Camille if she was going to sleep today. She said a very matter-of-fact "no." That's all right as she normally will stay in her room for about 45 mins. to an hour. I headed to the bathtub hoping for a little quiet time as Jason was going to work in the office.

After a while, I notice that Camille is being very quiet. Perhaps she slept! I asked Jason if she had been asleep awhile. He said, she had just come out to go to the bathroom. Curiosity got the better of him. He went into her room and couldn't find her anywhere. Not in her bed, not under the bed, not in her closet, not in the rose petal cottage. She couldn't be in the laundry basket, could she? He opened the lid and found our crazy little girl. She had put herself in there with some toys, put the lid on and promptly fell asleep sitting up with her forehead resting on the wicker side of the laundry basket. Not exactly comfy, but I guess when you are really tired, you'll fall asleep anywhere!

It's a...

Anyone who knows me well knows I am not very proficient at waiting to tell surprises or even waiting until Christmas to give a gift to someone, especially Jason. It's like the gift or knowledge burns a hole in my hand or brain and I have to get rid of the information or gift because my skin is bursting open at the excitement they will experience.

That all said to say, I was planning on waiting until delivery to find out if the baby was a boy or girl.

Yeah, right. This is me we're talking about here.

I even dreamed last night about the conflict of not finding out versus finding out. Quite a scenario in my sleep.

So, we found out today with the kids with us.

It's a boy!

Hip Hip Hooray!

So pumped because I already have a boy name picked out. That I may not tell you, though.

Hee Hee!
