Grumble!

I had added to my previous post and it was witty and spunky, but blogger wouldn't post it and gave me an error message instead.

Sorry, it included me in dress-up with the kiddos, and 10pm fishing time for Jason and, no kidding here, the addition of 2 more desperate train sounds pleaing for more interaction from this crazy train.

I'm really sorry Karen. Best wishes to your sanity.

What an ending...

This is the final line in this article.

"Campus officials ended up giving up the water without concessions; protesters declined to yield their urine."

YIELD their URINE!!

On another note, my sister Karen is going to be irritated at the gift that Mom and I got Elise for her birthday. I accidentally hit the button on the Pooh Activity Choo-Choo Train Ridin' Fun that sounds off the train as I was bringing it in the door tonight. I can now count 3 times that same, very loud train sound has gone off. No, wait...4 times. Just went off.....stop that, 5 times!! Aaaaah the annoying toys that try to entice the toddler to "Come back and play, dear child. This is the best toy you have ever seen. Chugga chugga chugga chugga! Don't leave me for another, less-interesting toy! Chugga chugga chugga chugga!"

Yeah, most loving Moms/sisters don't want to add to the noise with another annoying birthday gift, but alas we did not know the joy (pain) we would be adding to their life. Sorry, Karen, but hope Elise likes it!

Speaking of noisy gifts, there were 2 little Brainy Baby Left Brain, Right Brain lap toys that someone who will remain nameless so as not to incriminate them unnecessarily, gave to Camille when she was a infant that would say "Bye bye Brainy Baby" when it unfailingly noticed that it was not being played with anymore. Cute if it wasn't the high-pitched staccato alliteration with those "Bs!". It was murder and when they were returned to us (from Karen and Abigail, bless her heart) after Isaac was born, poor guy never had a chance. Maybe his right brain and left brain didn't get the stimulus it needed, but those toys went back with joy and a silent scream of relief when I found out Karen was prego with Elise. Halle-freakin'-luiah!

Last but not least, I ran in the Bixby Green Corn Festival 5k and narrowed my time down to 25:40. Still 3rd place in my age group, but I got in the 25 minute range which was my goal. Do a little dance with me now! Ya know you wanna! Shake it! Oh and instead of a medal, they gave out corn! Cuz it's a corn festival.

Love to all. Hope my randomness made you smile. Well, it made me smile all the way over here in nutso-land.

Oooooh, I'm all into politics right now!

I know all 6 of you that read this probably aren't surprised at my politics. But, this is my blog, and my responsibility to share this.

Enjoy and spread the word, my children. This is serious.

Best idea for a TV show EVER!

Hooray For Our Government

I couldn't get the video to imbed, just click on the link and pick your jaw up off the floor when the video is over. I think I might go puke now.

Pee On Me

A few minutes ago, I was standing in front of Isaac as he sat on his little potty, peeing. All of a sudden he flexes his little ab muscles and through some miracle of nature, his little pee-er hikes up over the guard on the potty and he continues his pee stream all over my leg and foot. Then he pipes up, "I pee on Mommy."

Things you never knew you would experience with a little boy.

I Got A Medal!

I ran my second 5k and came in 3rd in my age group! Holy Shmoly! I also shaved off 24 seconds off my time to 26:28, but that could have also been that I didn't have to re-tie my shoe during the 2nd kilometer like I did in the first run. Who cares! I got a medal! And a very sore bone on the top of my foot. How are you supposed to know when pain means a real injury or just needs rest? We'll soon find out.

The words of the wee ones.

Jason asked Camille what she wanted to be when she grew up and if she wanted to work. She said, "No, I want to drive. Like Mommy." I guess all she thinks I do is drive.

Camille also asked today at dinner, "Mommy, you're done having babies, right?" I replied, "Yes, honey, I am." To which she replied, "Is Daddy done? Because we need another baby in this house. Isaac's a big boy now." Get ready, Daddy! Looks like you are having the next one!

Isaac chimes in during our drives, "Mommy, bulldozer! See Mommy?! Mommmmmmmyyyyy, BULLDOZER! Look, Mommy, look bulldozer!" "I see it, Isaac." "Camille, bulldozer! See Camille?! Caaaaamiiillllle, BULLDOZER!....." "Camille, just tell Isaac, you see it!" He needs to be heard and will make sure he is heard!

Camille's favorite thing to say to anyone who will listen, "Yeah, cuz I'm big."

Isaac is in a big boy bed. We took the front off his crib and now he can go in and out on his own. He has done a remarkable job staying in bed, except now he has an overwhelming fear of his bed. Camille said that he fell from his crib when a sitter was with them, and that spurred the removal of the front of his crib, but it also left him with a real dislike of his bed.

Pictures to come!
