We have moved from months to weeks to days to hours. From 9:30 this morning, it will be 166 hours until we go to the hospital. Yeehaw, Hoorah!
I guess God knew what He was doing when He made me want to schedule an induction for the little man; turns out he is breech again. We would have had to schedule him to be turned in the hospital during the 39th week anyway, so it really worked out well that we already had it on the books. Dr. W says there is a good chance we can get him to rotate through a somewhat uncomfortable process (for me) called external cephalic version where they basically manipulate my belly and therefore Isaac to get him to face the music instead of the stars, we'll say. Doc says there is enough fluid for him to turn, so daily I am praying for him to want to do this on his own. Selfishly, I also want him to turn because his noggin is right under my ribs and I'm telling you, boys and girls, that hurts.
Moving on, this week is a slow role for our household. Wednesday has some activity and Thursday is packed, but other than that, I think I will cherish a break so that C can get her naps in. Last week was a week full of adventure and empty of a break for either of us because our wee one wouldn't sleep beyond about 40 minutes. We'll hope for better productivity in the nap department this week.
1. Reading Becca's first blog yesterday! What fun! You can find her at www.bec-maddox.blogspot.com. I'll snag a link to her page eventually...
2. It looks like the 3 crepe myrtles we transplanted from our little seedlings are going to make it in spite of the insane heat. It's the little things this week...
3. Seeing Camille's silly walks. She's started to have some doozies. She'll just take off and become a very innovative walker. It just makes me smile.
4. Meeting our son in about a week!
5. Eating the brownies I made on Friday evening to keep myself busy while Jason went on a last fishing trip with Casey.
6. The nap I had yesterday and the one I am already planning for today. I am pooped!
7. A full day yesterday of just nothing but Jason and Camille. It sure was dandy.
8. Saving over $20 with coupons during our grocery and last minute baby stuff buying episode yesterday. $20!
9. Watching "Kingdom of Heaven" last night with Jason and not getting it just as much as Jason. I understand the whole shebang about the crusades, but I think the movie was done poorly and very slowwwly.
10. Relishing the thought of a semi-normal body, no more puking episodes (has really gotten to me the last few days), significant reduction in back pain, regular food that sounds appetizing instead of revolting, no more rib pain because of a little man's head piercing my ribs, and the blissful thought of not doing this again if not forever for a very, very, very, very, very long time. I want no questions on when we are going to have another! Being pregnant for basically 2.5 solid years is enough for me! I also relish the thought of being able to hold him in my arms, see his face, count his fingers and toes, smell his new baby skin and enjoy not being pregnant. It is all about him, but it is all about me as well and the not being pregnant thing.

14 More Days
Just 14 more days. Just 14 more days. Just 14 more days!!! It seems like time is dragging on and on and flying by all at once. It's been over a week since I last logged on, yet it seems like each day has pushed into a much longer than 24 hour period.
Our daughter is changing so rapidly. Just this morning, I noticed how long her little legs were. She is talking so much, as well and learning more words than I thought was possible at this age. I know it's because she is my first that it seems soon, but there is rarely an instant where she isn't able to say what it is she is wanting. I will stand corrected, however, in that last night, the child wouldn't sleep until almost 11pm, and woke up promptly at 7:50 this morning. She stated what she wanted over and over, "Up, up, up!" "Book" "Mommmaaa!" "Whas sat?" (What's that?) Maybe she was communicating very effectively, just that neither Jason nor I knew why in the blazes she chose to communicate right then. Ha!
We have something planned for every morning this week, which I am hoping will help the week fly by. Busy, busy, busy!
1. 14 more days.
2. The pedicure tonight.
3. My help tomorrow.
4. Getting a shower today. I almost blew it. I put it off, and put it off to get the laundry done and the dishes done during C's nap. As soon as I get in the shower and soap up my hair, I hear those blessed words, "Up, up, up!" I will say that was a very quick shower, but I am clean and was able to shave my legs...an accomplishment and miracle of nature in itself being over 9 months pregnant in the shower!
5. Braxton-Hicks contractions. That means something is being accomplished.
6. Strawberries and watermelon. A nice afternoon snack for all 3 of us.
7. Getting Jason to feel my belly button last night. He absolutely HATES it! And of course, I find it hysterical! He is the only one who will ever see it and will ever be able to experience it besides me, so I gotta share the joy, or pain, whoever's side your on.
8. The fantastic tomato beef and rice Jason prepared last night. It's like broccoli beef except with tomatoes, totally his own recipe from somewhere deep inside his noggin. Yummy!
9. Getting 3 compliments on my legs recently. I guess since in comparison to my tummy, they look smaller or something, but I have never had that many real compliments on my legs out of the blue from 3 different people, none of them blood-related! When you feel as big as a rhino, it's nice to have people find something good about you.

Thank God Almighty, there is an end in sight!!!!
1. I received the blissful phone call this morning. Stacy, in Dr. W's office, has confirmed that we are scheduled for an induction on August 7 at 7:30am! Sweet praises raised, only 24 days!! With having gone over by 1.5 weeks with sweet baby Camille, I was on the prowl for a date with the doctor, and it just so happens that the date is 08/07/06! Kinda cool as Camille ended up being 03/04/05. So, needless to say, Yeehaw! I'm pumped!
2. Camille's roseola is kinda going away. She still has a rash, but it is not near as ugly as it first was.
3. The pedicure I had on Wednesday. My toes haven't looked that good in a long time.
4. Seeing Becca and Keri this week.
5. Plans to try a new church on Sunday. It's not just new to us, this is their first Sunday service ever. It's tough to find a church home, but we are hoping and praying for wisdom in where to go. This is close to us, in Jenks, and should be interesting.
6. This should have come in at number 2, but here it sits at number six. (That almost rhymes!) Isaac is back head down. He did his flip and sits ready, I am just hoping there are no more flips coming.
7. I've said it before and I will say it again, ice water and air conditioning.
8. Jason bathing Camille and just being here at night. He had a soccer game that ran into her bedtime last night, so I was left to fend for myself. I like it a lot better when he fends for me. I think he does to, because I was a bit crabby after he got home last night.
9. A relatively easy last few weeks, pregnantly speaking.
10. 24 days, 24 days, 24 days, 24 days!

It's Been Forever
I know it's been forever, but this will be good as I have pictures to share! Since last we connected, albeit over a web page, we have completed Isaac's room, totally and finally; all the rock was completed in the backyard; Camille had her first professional haircut while I finally got my highlights done (it had been since April! Jason had moved on to calling me "Two-Tone" when I was waiting to save him money!); we went to the Aquarium on the 4th of July, Jason's first time; and Camille caught Roseola, presumably from another child at the Aquarium.
The last few days have been spent confined to the house as she is contagious to kids until the rash is gone, but we have been able to make some errand runs, so there has at least been some break. It looks absolutely awful as it covers her whole body, but thankfully, she acts as if nothing is wrong.
Soooooo, click on the picture to be taken to some really good pics........
1. Getting my hair done! I think three months was pushing it.
2. Being so close to having Isaac here. We are around 4 weeks, give or take.
3. Having a really good time lately with C and Jason. They have both been such a joy to be around, and I feel really blessed by them both.
4. Camille bringing me random pieces of clothing and asking me to put them "off" which means on her. "Off" means off, but it also means on, just like "up" means up, but it also means down. It's amazing the interpretation power of a mother.
5. C having no big issue with the Roseola, except for the fever last week.
6. Reading on Keri's blog that their house in Arkansas sold! What an enormous blessing!
7. Having lunch with some good friends last week. What fun!
8. Isaac's room is finished.
9. Doing our prayers with C at night and hearing her say "ameee" for amen. It is just such a joy to see her grow and change every day.
10. Having the option to do physical therapy for my back pain, even though it is a ton more work than what I thought it would be. I am actually sleeping a bit better at night.
