I've caught another five minutes to update our site. Here goes...
1. Getting my hair trimmed and colored today. This is the best color I have received to date. We are finally getting the gold out and working on good blonde. I have a level 6 highlight with an AB 6 blonde color. In case you were wondering...
2. Having the best two hours with my hairdresser Christy. Let me just say she is the best hairdresser I have ever had. I used to be a "salon slut" and hop around A LOT from salon to salon trying to find someone I clicked with and admired in their work. We were able to talk non-stop as friends and future August moms as she is due two weeks behind me. A new friendship has definitely started developing! Thank you, God!
3. Being complimented on the nurture that we have provided Camille to go along with her great nature. We are blessed indeed.
4. Keri L., my dear friend in AR had a very quick (3 hours of labor), pain-free (Lord bless the doc that invented epidurals), and relaxing childbirth to Bowman “Bo” Jacob at 11:53 this morning at 8 lb. 1oz. and 20.5 inches long. Mom is doing great and Bo is being a champ in NICU with some antibiotics and good monitoring on his breathing. All is well!
5. The exterminators! No more black widows!
6. Walking around the block with Jas and Camille after dinner. I love that we are able to carve out that time to spend together as a family and just talk with no distractions.
7. The rain! Keep it coming!
8. Sitting outside on the front porch at 10pm with Jas and listening to/watching the rain.
9. Hot chocolate.
10. Knowing God is in control and letting go.

Quickly I Type
I have dinner planned tonight, and I am cooking it! Chicken enchiladas and rice from our Body for Life cookbook. C and I just got back from the store and are about to dig into cooking, so I must type quickly.
1. Just reading Keri's blog and knowing Jake is going for his interview here in T-town. Little Bo, stay inside your mommy just a couple more days!
2. The magnificent 77 degrees we just came inside from.
3. C starting to give hugs to my legs.
4. Isaac doing the tango inside me when I picked Camille up and was holding her after she slipped and bonked her head on the kitchen tile. She woke him up and was letting me know it!
5. The no-napper from yesterday took a 3.5 hour nap today. Can't beat that break!
6. Swim lessons are tomorrow.
7. The exterminators are coming on Monday. I had a small panic attack when C and I went out to get the mail yesterday, and there was #7 of the week of black widows chilling on our front porch brick eating a beetle. That was the last straw, and I had to have Jennifer come kill it as I was barefoot with no weapons in my reach and a daughter in my arms. Can't beat fearless women!
8. On that note, Jason being willing to let me spend the money on exterminators to really kill those beasts. They must really like our landscaping rocks because we have now what is considered an infestation. Yikes!
9. Cooper being the best dog and letting C mess with him. He is very gentle in how he gets up and removes himself from her reach when he has had enough, though.
10. Windows open and a nice breeze blowing as I start my food creation!

Attempt #2
I opened up this blogger page yesterday with high hopes of filling in the empty space, and yet here it is after 3pm on Tuesday and I find it blank. It has been crazy busy in our little household the last few days, but all filled with good times!
Jason got home on Saturday evening after fishing with Casey. They both needed the time with just each other to be back where they used to always be; on the water, casting flies and enjoying the quiet company they always provide each other. I'm even willing to lose those few hours with him to see his joy and relaxation from time away from all family and all responsibilities to be able to fill up his need to for good friendship.
Saturday, Camille and I went to the zoo with the Durham foursome and had a blast. Seeing so many kids at the zoo acting a little haywire made me appreciate Camille's youth (which I know is a factor) and her calm spirit. We then decorated eggs and hunted them at Donna's house with Brook and the kids. I even got to meet the newest Durham, little Duke, a yellow lab that is 3 months old and would steal even the hardest heart. What fun!
Sunday was just too fun to even describe. After church and a nap for all of us here, we made a pointless car ride to the store only to realize it was closed. We then came back home and watered the flowers which aren't really taking the 90+ temperatures very well this soon. Camille decided the water was where she wanted to be and started walking through the hose Jason was using. It was great to see her face as she walked through the cold water, caught her breath, giggled and then turned around to do it again. We took a ton of video of her! She started to shiver, so I took her in and removed her very soaked onesy. As soon as I put the towel on her head, she grabbed one of her necklaces and headed for the front door. So, our daughter was in the front yard walking around the lawn in her diaper, her hooded towel trailing behind her and her necklace. She looked like a little baby queen examining her territory. So anyway, a ton more footage was caught on video as my camera is still full from her birthday. I need to figure out how to put video clips on the blog. You all would get a good tickle out of it. We also had a hummingbird in our flowers which was pretty cool and I guess very rare to see!
1. Having family close to play with!
2. Hearing Camille say "apple" and "shadow" on Saturday night. She picked up those words out of our conversation. Makes you realize how you have to watch what you say in front of learning ears.
3. Hideaway Pizza. It was just yum.
4. A hope for a break from the 96 degree weather tomorrow. The high is only supposed to be 77. Now we are talking springtime, not middle of summer. God, could you just toss in some rain?
5. Only losing one tree from the transplanting that went on this fall. Now, if they could just grow quickly so we can have some privacy in our backyard for a few months out of the year.
6. Wisdom that will come from only God in finding a new church home.
7. Finding the paint color that we painted the living room. Word of advice, keep the paint can lid, the swatch, something when you paint a room so that when you need to touch up, you know what you're working with. Maybe even keep the brand name so you can narrow it down by store that carries that name. Just don't do what we did, it's not fun.
8. MOPs this morning! Over and over, I cherish those 2.5 hours.
9. A craft to complete from MOPs. We ran out of time, so it will give me something to do when I have a spare moment. Wait, did I say spare moment? I wonder where you find those...gotta start looking.
10. The 10 minute nap I got on the couch. Hey, 10 minutes is better than nothing!

So Much Better With Jason Here
Even though he has only been gone about three hours, it is so much better here with Jason home. He went to OKC to go fishing with his friend Casey, so it's not like he is days away and he will be home tomorrow evening, I just miss the heck out of him already. The house is way too quiet with Camille in bed and me just sitting here in front of this silly computer screen feeling sorry for myself. I am thankful though, so here goes...
1. Seeing my neighbor, Jessica's little boy this evening on my way home. He is probably only a week old now, and so peaceful and tiny! Keri, very soon will your little Bo be here. I can't wait to meet him as well!
2. Going to McDonald's for dinner tonight just me and little C. I will have to say Camille ate very healthy (for McD's) as she ate a fruit and yogurt parfait. I can't say the same for me, but who wants to fix dinner when you are bummed to be home alone?
3. My sis-in-law calling us to go to the zoo tomorrow morning. It will keep me from being down in the dumps too much and Camille will love it!
4. Air conditioning. It was in the 90s already and it is only April 14. Any indication of how hot it will be this summer? Sheesh!
5. Jason's opportunity to go fishing with his friend. I know I am being selfish for wanting him here all the time. I can say that I am spoiled in that regards. But, I am glad that he has such a good friend in Casey and is getting to do something he really loves. It has been too long since they have gotten together to cast flies.
6. Finding a pair of kacki capris in the maternity clothes Brook gave me. I have a feeling they are going to be worn out at the end of this pregnancy.
7. Having two good dogs that will keep me from being too lonely and who will bark at anything and everything so I have no worries about being solo. Can you tell my hormones are on overload today?
8. Seeing the little man on the ultrasound yesterday. Dr. Williamson wasn't there because he was in delivery and Dr. Sterling saw us almost immediately. You know what is crazy? During my whole pregnancy with Camille, I never once had to reschedule or see another doc due to Dr. W being on another delivery. This time around, I think this is the third or fourth time I have either rescheduled or seen Dr. Sterling. The good part is, that both Jason and I are comfortable enough with Dr. S that if he were the one on call for our delivery, we would have no worries and could just enjoy the process.
9. In spite of my increase in the consumption of sweets this last month (hooray for ice cream!), I only put on four pounds. For those of you that are keeping track, that is a total of 5.5 so far. In spite of the significant decrease in my poundage this go round, I am already having a heck of a time getting out of the couch as the huge pillows seem to swallow me whole, and I am more uncomfortable with this belly. Dr. S says that is normal with the second pregnancy and will probably get a bit worse. I think I might stick to sitting in the red chaise lounge instead of the couch from now on!
10. Jason will be home tomorrow evening! Did I mention I miss him........

Thursday...Almost Friday
1. It's the end of the week and Easter is just around the corner! What a fantastic holiday celebrating an amazing event. Sorry, no Easter bunny can take that away!
2. I know Camille is a good baby, but in no way is she perfect. Yesterday was a struggle in itself to find out the difference in spoiling her by holding her all the time and learning to live with the complaints of my not doing so (she made them loud and clear). We are trying to instill a bit more self-sufficiency in walking on her own and being okay with just holding my hand. Today was better. Thankfully, she was distracted enough by what else was going on to not mind walking. I won't be able to carry two all the time in just a few short weeks.
3. I've been thinking today about how we are going to continue our little rituals in the mornings with little Isaac here. I know they will adapt and carry on with little or no regard to what used to be. But, I am enjoying our quiet times together a little more each day.
4. After a rough day yesterday, swim class was a nice break for both of us! We signed up for one more month in June. We'll see if I can make it through that month before I commit us to going in July with what will be a HUGE belly on me.
5. Having lunch with Gram. Good times!
6. Getting to see the little man on a screen this afternoon. I am always amazed by the ultrasound technology and love that we get to see him so often.
7. Jason is going to come to the appointment! I love having him fit it in his schedule to be there. Yeehaw!
8. The wedding shower for Melinda that is scheduled this evening. It's always fun to hang out with my Philly High friends.
9. Speaking of good ole Philbrook, I am sooo glad I am not there as they are preparing for the largest fundraiser that museum puts on, the Wine Experience. Imagine my song and dance to not have to work that event!
10. Hearing Camille talk herself to sleep over the monitor. What a peaceful transition; I think I might do the same on the couch!
Have a great day!

Back on Track
I thought for sure I had posted after my blahs last week, but I guess I didn't. Quite a bit has been discussed in our little family the last few days. The major decision being that we are not going to build to move out to the land, rather we are going to build a small cabin-esque-nice-weekend-get-a-away. It was just too much to make the plans for a forever house, build it and keep the rest of our lives going. It will be a nice place for us to retreat to as well as family and dear friends when they need a break as well.
More info will come as we continue to move forward!
1. Being able to relax into our new plans and take a huge, deep breath of relief.
2. Going to my last Kappa meeting for at least a little while last night. We are breaking for the summer and I am not going to go to meetings until after a few months after Isaac is born. It will be a nice break.
3. Having the TU Uncorked 06 committee love my ideas for decorations. I was pretty excited to get that phone call, now I just have to do some work to back up my intelligence in design!
4. Talking with Keri yesterday. What a breath of fresh air in knowing that they are okay and Jake is getting some good responses on job applications! My preference is that they move back to Tulsa, but I won't pray too hard that only my needs are met! Ha Ha!
5. Camille taking the BIGGEST morning nap she has taken in a long time. We are struggling with getting her poo-cycle back to normal and staving off the runnies. I am hoping all the sleep will help her tummy heal.
6. Enjoying a morning free of pukies. For the past week, I have struggled in this area. I think the little man inside of me is growing quite a bit right now and taking more out of me than normal.
7. Counting on the calendar that I only have approximately 17 weeks left as a prego. Time flies when you are having fun! 17 weeks!
8. Getting new dryer sheets and smelling our clean clothes as I take them out of the dryer. They really smell good!
9. Having a very clean house. I cleaned windows last week (inside and out), dusted, vacuumed and did floors (with Jason's help) and made this house look good. Let me just say, it had been a while since any major cleaning had been done. Our picking up at the end of the day was no match for this down and dirty job!
10. Peace in knowing God's hand directs our life and our decisions. Even the smallest, heart-felt prayers are answered when given up to God in sincerity and selflessness. I don't know what I would do without that comfort.

Middle of the Week Blahs
How can I be thankful with the blahs? For one thing they cause me to actually stop and think. I am thankful for this season so that I can prioritize and take a breather on everything going on around me.
1. Talking to Mom today and just hashing out some of my concerns on the upcoming year and moving too fast to keep up.
2. Having an amazing husband that is on the same page as I am. When I am connected with him, I don't feel so alone in this trek of ours.
3. For the wisdom that God provides us on a daily basis.
4. Deciding to do a room for little Isaac. I need to be able to prepare for him physically so that I have the chance to prepare mentally. That is such a huge relief for me and an overbearing weight off my shoulders.
5. Knowing that God's timing supersedes ours. We just have to be patient and observant to what He is trying to tell us.
6. Talking with Kara today. We are able to both just unload on each other and still be heard.
7. Being complimented in my cardio class last night for having the tenacity to keep going in spite of a growing belly. I'm looking forward to the payoffs after little Isaac is here and there is less of me here as well.
8. Having our prayers be heard. I don't envy those that go through life without having the knowledge that the Almighty God is in total control. It's only a matter of letting go, waiting, listening, then acting with confidence.
9. Being able to comfort Camille when she falls down and bonks her noggin.
10. Having the opportunity to be reflective. I may have sounded repetitive, but each one of these popped up in my brain independently and therefore needed to be addressed.
11. A tool to lay down my thoughts.
12. People that care to read them. Thank you.

Five Minutes or Less
Let's see if I can do this in 5 minutes or less so I can get Camille in the tub and into bed...
1. The beautiful weather for our outdoor pictures yesterday.
2. Ace being understanding of my own "Latin Standard Time" in arriving 10 minutes late to our shoot.
3. The great pics he took! We got to see a preview on his computer. What a fantastic photographer. If you EVER need a photographer for anything, he is the BEST there is. You'll see some pics soon. It doesn't fit in my 5 minutes right now.
4. Brookside Lao Thai where we went for dinner after the pics. Yummy Drunken Noodle I still have for leftovers tomorrow.
5. MOPs this morning. There are 4 pregnant women at my table; how fun is that!
6. Jenny Clark is feeling better. She is a MOPs mom at my table due 2-3 weeks after me and was feeling awful and depressed. Now, a happy camper!
7. Carl's Jr. play time with P and Alyssa. We stayed until 2pm!
8. Meeting Tori at Carl's Jr. She is on the steering comittee with MOPs and gave me a full set of bedding for Isaac! What a huge blessing. I love all the hand-me-downs!
9. Now that we have the bedding, I actually have something for Isaac. At this point with Camille's pregnancy, her room was almost done. It feels nice to do at least something for this child.
10. Having a conversation with Jason on church. I've prayed about it and am relieved to hear he is in agreement. God give us wisdom.
Done! I think it was 4 minutes. Hooray! Love you all.

Still Just a Child
No matter how much you want to think that your child excels above the rest and is quite the intelligent little human being, they tend to remind you of their humanness (is that a word?). Anyway, Camille and I were enjoying a nice bit of breakfast this morning when I looked up to see her finger up in her nose all the way past the fingernail to the first knuckle. She then proceeded to pull out from her nose and go straight for the mouth. She seemed to enjoy it as her finger stayed in there a few seconds. I couldn't help but smile and appreciate the simplicity of enjoying youth.
1. Reading David and Jackie's newsletter was such a treat this morning! I was talking on Saturday with our Mini-Church's ladies brunch about how I have three different friends as missionaries in foreign countries. That's quite a number with two of my friends coming from the secular college we attended. The other from high school. May God protect and use each of them mightily.
2. Making Rice Crispie treats yesterday. What a yummy, gooey, sugary mess that I haven't had in at least a year!
3. Playing with a ball with Camille. It's more like fetch, because I roll the ball and she brings it back instead of rolling it. But, it's more fun to play fetch with her than with the dog.
4. The great rain we received on Saturday evening. Our grass is turning green!
5. My walking partner Jennifer. It's nice to get out for a couple of miles at night. Keeps my blood flowing and my back not aching.
6. Waking up and being able to stretch out my back and not have pain the rest of the morning. Thank you Jason for buying that memory foam mattress topper thingy.
7. Talking with Ace and finally (yeah!) being able to reschedule the outdoor pictures for today! No rain in the forecast!
8. Knowing that God has set us where we are for an exact purpose. Each day, each second is according to His plan. Lord, help me use each day as you want.
9. No Sunday pukies!
10. Enjoying a significant amount of Cool Ranch Doritos. We won't go into quantity, you don't want to know, but it was salty and yummy.

Sunday Catch-up!
1. Not feeling like I missed too much sleep last night with the time change.
2. Going to the park yesterday afternoon and having Camille meet a new little friend to play with for a little while.
3. Good preaching on intercessory prayer again today. He even went over how important it was to do this for your enemies. Yikes, something I need to work on.
4. Jason watching Camille while I went to my ladies brunch yesterday morning. Thanks, baby!
5. Camille immediately learning to let her little light shine by putting up her pointer finger. Pruitt and Alyssa were singing that song today at brunch and she caught right on. As soon as I start to sing the song now, there goes her finger!
6. Going to Jason's soccer game in a few minutes. Should be fun!
7. Taking a nap when Camille did right after church.
